Single Brew Coffee Maker

We love coffee and always make a big pot every morning. Some months back when I was having my nails done my esthetician asked me what kind of latte coffee I would like. I was completely taken by surprise but she had recently acquired a Bosch Tassimo Coffee Maker. She showed me how easy it was for her to make individual lattes or espresso coffees for her customers. Recently we were on vacation and the people with whom we were staying had a Breville Single Serve Coffee Maker. These two incidents have peak my curiosity about a new simple way to make coffee.

The ease of operation, the speed that the machine spits out a cup, and the ability for everyone to have their favorite fresh brew seems like something too good to be true. With all these self contained K-cups or T-discs of coffee pods or hot chocolate or tea infusions there is absolutely no mess. The machines need simple maintenance to keep them clean.

Also available and much loved by many is the Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet best single-cup brewing system for your home. As all machines can be purchased for a similar price which one is the right one to purchase?

All of the machines use a system of reading the bar code on the K-cups and T-discs to regulate the amount and pressure of the water. A selection of these coffees can be found in many of the supermarkets or can be ordered online at quite a savings. They all offer the option of using your own grind of coffee in the reusable cups that come with the machines.
The Pros of these coffee makers are:

  • Fresh coffee
  • Single cups of coffee quickly made to a person’s desire.
  • Simple clean up
  • Much cheaper than the coffee houses

The cons are:

  • A big pot of coffee brewing to serve a group
  • K-cups and T-discs not readily available in remote places (need to order online)
  • More expensive than regular coffee

This machine is amazing! I swear my household has already saved more money than I spent on this thing. The best feature is being able to use your own coffee! MUST OWN!!

I gave this coffeemaker to my husband for Christmas after being so pleased with the Breville convection toaster oven that we purchased earlier.
This Breville is also a wonderful product and is gorgeous looking. It costs more money, as did the toaster oven, but it is so worth the price! It is sturdy and solid feeling.
It arrived with a variety of K cup flavors to try, which is fun!
It is very easy to use and makes incredible coffee! Highly recommended!

Looked at the K-cup type machines and settled on the Tassimo. I really wanted the Starbucks varieties without having to fool around with the “custom” K-cup to have it. Have been quite pleased with the Tassimo.

After researching these machines I am excited about them and I think I might like to own all three. The Breville has very appealing lines and has a large water tank. It is slightly more money than the other two but the savings over trips to the coffee houses will more than make up for it. The Bosch Tassimo is tucking at my desires as I like the idea of the fresh milk and the ability to instantly have a latte with no mess and no need to be steaming or frothing the milk separately. Stay tuned and I will get back to you on my decision.

While I am making up my mind you can find variety and savings on the K-cups by clicking here
