These Finger Lickin’ Spareribs disappear as fast as you can serve them. It has taken me a long time to convince my husband about the joys of spareribs. Now that he has found out how great they are we are on the hunt for a variety of recipes. This one is definitely a keeper. It is perfect for a party.

Ingredients for Finger Lickin’ Spareribs

  • 1 cup White Vinegar
  • 1 clove Garlic crushed
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 21/2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • dash Hot Pepper Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Catsup
  • 1 Tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • ½ Tsp Pepper
  • ½ Tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 jars Baby Food Fruit – Peaches, Pears, or Apricots
  • 12 lbs Spareribs cut into individual pieces

Method for Finger Lickin’ Spareribs

Combine all but the spareribs and simmer for 15 minutes. Pour over ribs.
Marinate overnight. Pour off juice and use to baste while baking at 400º for ½ hour. At this point they can be refrigerated or frozen.
When ready to serve bring to room temperature and place under broiler until brown and crisp.
