Chicken Wings Sticks Recipe

Chicken wings are always a hit at a party. I belong to a group of women who twice a year invite their partners to join them in an appetizer and drinks party. Often someone will bring chicken wings and they instantly disappear. I like the taste of the sesame seeds and ginger in this recipe.

Ingredients for Chicken Wings Sticks

  • 3 lbs Chicken wings (about 15)
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 11/2 cups Flour
  • 1/3 cup Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Salt
  • ½ Tsp Ground Ginger

Method for Chicken Wings Sticks

Divide each wing in half by cutting through joint with a sharp knife. Wash and drain on paper towels.
Melt butter in large shallow baking pan.
Roll chicken pieces, one at a time, in butter, then in flour mixture. Set aside on sheets of wax paper. Arrange in single layer, not touching, in same pan.
Bake at 350º for 1 hour. Refrigerate or freeze.
When ready to serve, bring to room temperature and broil 3 to 5 minutes until golden.
Makes about 30. Can be made 2 days before or frozen.
