Parmesan Puffs Recipe

We have made these Parmesan Puffs often and they always disappear very quickly. I have never had any left over.

Ingredients for Parmesan Puffs

  • 1Loaf White Sandwich Bread
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 5 – 8 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
  • 1 Onion small

Method for Parmesan Puffs

Cut bread into shapes – circles 1 inch. Place on baking sheet and pop into oven set at broil. Lightly brown circles. Remove from oven and flip over.
Mix mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and onion to consistency of softened butter. Cover bread circles completely with mixture.
At this point they can be covered and refrigerate over night. To serve broil for 5-8 minutes until puffed and brown.
Note: An option is to add some bacon bits to the mixture.
