APPLE CRISP

This version of an old favorite comes from my daughter’s. Home Economics project.

  • 4 – 6 apples
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp Water

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash, core and slice fruit (peeling is optional). Mix in small bowl and place in loaf pan.

Topping

  • 1/3 cup Flour
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cup Oatmeal
  • ¼ cup Butter

Combine flour, sugar, and oatmeal in bowl. Cut in butter. Sprinkle on fruit.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until apples are soft.

Whip Cream

Chill bowl and beaters before whipping.

  • 1 small Whipping Cream
  • 1 Tsp Icing Sugar
  • Dash of Vanilla

Whip cream until stiff. Watch carefully to avoid over whipping.
May also be served with ice cream instead of whipped cream.
