Joan’s Apple Cake with Sauce

This is a lovely cake that is easy to make. It is great in the fall when apples are at their best but can be served at any time. I love how quickly it goes together.

Ingredients For Joan’s Apple Cake with Sauce

  • 4 Cups Sliced Apples
    2 Cups White Sugar
    2 Cups Flour
    1½Tsp Soda
    2 Tsp Cinnamon
    1 Tsp Salt
    2 Eggs
    ¾ Cup Oil
    1 Cup Chopped Pecans

Method For Joan’s Apple Cake with Sauce

Preheat oven to 350F
Mix eggs, oil and vanilla. Stir in Apples, Sugar, Four, Soda, Cinnamon, and Salt. Blend well. Stir in Pecans.
Bake in Greased 9 x 13 Pan for approximately 50 minutes.

  • 1 Cup white sugar
    ½ Cup Butter
    ½ Cup Whipping Cream
    1 Tsp Vanilla

Boil 3 minutes.
