Recipe for SautÃ©ed Snow Peas
Snow peas are a great addition to your vegetable repertoire. This recipe for SautÃ©ed Snow Peas is quick and easy. What I like best about it is that the snow peas stay crunchy and crispy. The color on the plate is magnificent.
INGREDIENTS for Snow Peas
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 2 cups Snow Peas
- Â½ cup finely chopped Purple Onion
- 1 cup Celery, sliced
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 minced Garlic Clove
- dash of Soy Sauce
- Salt and Pepper
METHOD for Snow Peas
In a large saucepan of boiling, salted water, boil snow peas 30 seconds and drain.
Refresh snow peas under cold water and drain. Snow peas can be prepared up to this point 8 hours ahead and chilled, covered.
SautÃ© onion, garlic and celery in oil until tender crisp. Add snow peas, sugar, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Serve at once.
